  •  Medical and surgery degree achieved at the University of Bologna
     Thesis: "The duodenal-gastric reflux pathology" supervisor Prof. Giuseppe Gozzetti.
  •  II level International Master in Nutrition and Dietetics achieved at Polytechnic University of Marche.
     Thesis: "The use of probiotics in the intestinal bacterial overgrowth", supervisor Prof. Maurizio Battino.
  •  Qualifying exam to exercise the medical profession taken at the University of Bologna.
  •  Practical Theoretical Course "Allergology and Clinical Immunology" attended at the Medical School of Rome and Lazio.
  •  639 ECM Ministerial Formative Credits achieved.

WORKING CURRICULUM

  • After the qualifying exam, I worked in the nutrition and dietetic sector, doing at the same time other activities in the medical field.
  • I was a general practitioner in Rome, both in the hamlet of Casal Morena and in the Salario Parioli district.
  • I worked in the Division of Medicine and Surgery at San Giovanni Hospital in Rome.
  • I worked at Addolorata Hospital of Rome, mainly dealing with mesotherapy and antalgic therapy.
  • I held an emergency doctor service at 22 Local Health Unit of San Benedetto del Tronto.
  • I worked for five years in the Departments of Medicine and Surgery of the Nursing Home Villa Anna in San Benedetto del Tronto.
  • Since 1992, I am the scientific responsible for Progeo Medical, a research and development company for a nutrition software.
  • Since 1994, I have been working exclusively in the nutrition and dietetics fields at my office in Centobuchi of Monteprandone.
  • Since 1991 to 1993 and since 2012 to 2017, I have been part of the Board of Directors of the private Nursing Home Villa Anna in San Benedetto del Tronto.
  • In 2010, in order to study the various aspects of the Mediterranean diet in the best way, I stayed in Malta, a village in which South-European and Arab food cultures come together and coexist.
  • In 2014, I stayed in New York City during which I conducted a study, together with two dietists from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, about the supply of large cities of the U.S.
  • In 2015, I went to Saudi Arabia to conduct a research about the habits of deserts nomads of Nefud and Rub'al-Khali, known as the Empty Quarter.
  • To carry out this research I centred on direct testimonies. I discovered the food choices, selected over the millennia, which have allowed this population to have an optimal state of health, despite living in a particularly hostile environment, both in terms of water and food supplying.
  • In 2015, I was in Qatar to conduct a new research about the nomad feed of the Qatar desert, and here I heard about the good health and longevity of these populations. To make the survey, I availed myself of the local people's collaboration, who have illustrated me the peculiar dietary habits of the nomadic desert populations of this particular area of ​​the Arabian Peninsula.
  • Since 2015, my doctor's office has an agreement with the Faculty of nutrition science, Carlo Bo University of Urbino, to carry out internships and graduation thesis.
  • In 2016, I was in Washington, New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore to explain my technique in several university areas, including the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, that are using it for the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
  • In 2016, I was invited in the United Arab Emirates to participate as supervisor at the Arab Nutrition Conference in Abu Dhabi, to illustrate my method to the nutritionists of the Arab world.
  • In 2016, I participated as Speaker on the "Applied Human Nutrition" training course, held in Rimini and organized by the ABNI, the Association of Italian Nutritionists, with an intervention on "Patient Satisfaction Therapeutic Success".
  • In 2017, I was invited to explain my method of care in Spain at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport based in Madrid.
  • In May 2017, I published my book "The basics and heights of the nutritionist's job", a volume of dietary technique for doctors, nutritionists and dieticians.
  • Since 2017 my medical office had an agreement with Camerino University for the development of internships.
  • Since 2017 I have been co-examiner for the degree thesis in "Molecular Biology, Health and Nutrition" at Carlo Bo University of Urbino.
  • In 2020 my medical office stipulated an agreement with Chieti University G. D'Annunzio for drawing up graduation thesis.
  • In 2021 I published my second book "The new horizons of dietetics", in which I studied in a modern way the most important aspects of the daily work of the nutritionist, based on my personal research and on the most recent achievements of the scientific world.
