First examination

There are illustrated below some aspects of my treatment in order to better understand the development of the first visit and the procedures that are implemented.

PERSONALIZATION OF THE FOOD PLAN

My food plan is highly personalized and satisfies the specific needs and characteristics of each person. For a high level of personalization, it is imperative to know the individual's reality, both from the pathophysiological point of view and the lifestyle.

KNOWLEDGE OF PHYSIOPATHOLOGICAL REALITY

You can get to know the physical reality of a person with the expert use of the fundamental procedures and investigations listed below.

  • MEDICAL, PHYSIOLOGICAL AND PATHOLOGICAL ANAMNESIS: it consists of gathering all the information useful to better define the pathophysiological profile.
  • MEDICAL EXAMINATION: It is based on objective examination, with measurements and evaluations of some key parameters such as cardiovascular activity, gastrointestinal function, osteon-muscular status, and various anthropometric checks.
  • FOOD STUDY: This is a study that uses computerized support, equipped with food images, aimed at knowledge of the period before the beginning of my treatment. So, you become aware of the various nutrients, a basic element for the definition of nutritional status.
  • PRESCRIPTION AND EVALUATION OF EMATOCHEMIC TESTS: Exams that are inherent in metabolic and physio pathological status are evaluated.
  • EVALUATION OF OTHER DIAGNOSTIC TESTS: ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, etc.
  • BIOELECTRICAL IMPEDANCE ANALYSIS: Using the latest generation impedance analyser, body cell mass (BCM) is calculated, or more specifically the metabolically active tissue segment. The knowledge of this parameter is essential for a true esteem of basal metabolism. Doing this test, therefore, we are not limited to the simplistic and outdated distinction between lean body mass and fat body mass.

 

KNOWLEDGE OF LIFESTYLE

As it has been said above, lifestyle knowledge is essential for the creation of a personalized food plan. In this regard, a preliminary investigation is carried out to develop some key aspects, including:

  • kind of work done and physical engagement that this requires;
  • any sports activities done;
  • time available for preparing meals;
  • place where meals are eaten, if you are at home or outside.

 

THE UNDERLYING IDEOLOGY AND CONCEPTS AT THE BASIS OF MY WORK

TWIN METHOD

This method is based on the achievement of two purposes:

  • provide nutrition supplements that allow the desired weight variation;
  • ensure nutritional completeness, optimizing in particular the nutrients intake that are part of the twin code.


OPEN MEDITERRANEAN DIET

My food plans are inspired by the Mediterranean diet, typical of the Mediterranean area. This model, which is a scientific excellence, so much to be proclaimed by UNESCO as a "Heritage of Humanity", uses familiar foods in a natural personalized way.
My method of treatment is based on a new concept of the Mediterranean diet that is open to foods typical of other cultures, appropriately selected by me. Adopting these nutritional choices, it adds value to the diet from the scientific point of view.
These solutions are also particularly appreciated as they enrich the variety and taste of the diet with new flavours, giving at the same time a touch of diversity.
These dishes are typical of the Middle East, East, the American continent, in particular of Mexico and the Caribbean area.

FOOD EXCLUSIONS

During the first examination you will find a list of all the foods with which the diet can be processed and on which you can mark those you don’t want in the food plan.
In this way you get the maximum level of personalization: among the typical foods of the Mediterranean diet you can choose the most agreeable and the ethnic solutions are introduced only if desired.

SIMPLE AND RAPID PREPARATIONS

All the solutions in my food planes take a little time to be made.
When preparation times are very reduced or you are compelled to eat out, additional ad hoc solutions are available, which further reduced execution times and are agreed on a case-by-case basis.
In this regard, during the first visit a question is asked about the time available for preparing meals over the different days of the week.

PROGRESSIVE EVOLUTION DIET

My method of treatment is dynamic because it is based on the progressive and harmonious introduction of new foods and different dietary solutions during the therapeutic path.
This new method overcomes the old static technique in which the same diet was followed throughout the duration of the treatment.
