REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

Laboratory tests

Anyone preparing for the first visit must bring complete blood tests or send them by email later.

The routine tests required are:

  • Blood count
  • Blood iron
  • Electrolytes
  • Uric acid
  • Azotemia
  • Creatinine
  • Blood sugar
  • Total cholesterol
  • HDL cholesterol
  • LDL cholesterol
  • Triglycerides
  • Transaminases GOT / GPT
  • Gamma-GT
  • Thyroid function (FT3, FT4, TSH)
  • Urine test

If necessary, further specific tests may be requested on a case-by-case basis.

During the treatment, and after an appropriate period of time, new tests will be prescribed to monitor the progress of your nutritional program. It is therefore important to avoid making personal decisions about which tests to perform or when to perform them: the frequency and type of checks should always be determined by your doctor on a case-by-case basis.

Instrumental examination reports

If any instrumental tests have been performed (e.g. ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, etc.), it is advisable to bring the reports to the first visit.

Diets done in the past

If you have followed any diets before, it is helpful to bring them with you to your first visit to allow for a more complete and accurate assessment.
