CURRICULUM STUDIORUM

  • Degree in Medicine and Surgery obtained at Università degli Studi di Bologna.
    Thesis: “La patologia da reflusso duodeno-gastrico” (“Duodenogastric reflux disease”), supervisor Prof. Giuseppe Gozzetti.
  • II Level International Master in Nutrition and Dietetics obtained at Università Politecnica delle Marche.
    Thesis: “L’impiego dei probiotici nell’overgrowth batterico intestinale” (“The use of probiotics in intestinal bacterial overgrowth”), supervisor Prof. Maurizio Battino.
  • Qualifying exam for the practice of the medical profession at Università degli Studi di Bologna.
  • Theorical-practical course in “Allergologia e Immunologia Clinica” (“Clinical Allergology and Immunology”) done at the Medical Hospital School of Rome and the Lazio region.
  • Acquisition of 935 Ministerial Training Credits ECM.

WORK RESUME

  • After the qualifying exam I worked in nutrition and dietetic, while simoultaneosuly working other jobs in the medical field.
  • I’ve been a general practitioner in Rome in the Casal Morena borough and in the Salario Parioli neighborhood.
  • I worked in the wards of Medicine and Surgery in the hospitals of St. Giovanni and Addolorata in Rome.
  • I’ve been a Medical Guard at the Local Healthcare Unit 22 of San Benedetto del Tronto.
  • I worked five years in the wards of Medicine and Surgery at the Nursing Home Villa Anna of San Benedetto del Tronto.
  • Since 1992 I’m the scientifical director of Progeo Medical, a company that deals with research and development of technologies for nutrition.
  • Since 1994 I exclusively work in the fields of nutrition and dietetic in my studio situated in Centobuchi of Monteprandone.
  • From 1991 to 1993 and from 2012 to 2017 I’ve been part of the administration council of the nursing home Villa Anna in San Benedetto del Tronto.
  • In 2010, to better study the various aspects of the mediterranean diet, I’ve resided in Malta, a country where south-european and arab food cultures meet and coexist.
  • In 2014 I’ve been to New York City. During this time I’ve studied together with two dietists belonging to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, on the diet of the big metropolis of the USA.
  • In 2015 I’ve gone to Saudi Arabia to do a research on the eating habits of the desert nomads of Nefud and Rub’ al-Khali, also known as the desert of the Empty Quarter. To do this research I’ve based myself on direct testimonies. In this way I’ve discovered the eating solutions, selected upon millenia, that have let these people thrive and have an optimal health, even if they are living in a particularly hostile environment, both for the water and the food supply.
  • Also in 2015 I’ve done a research in Qatar on the eating habits of the desert nomads, done with the help ol local people.
  • Since 2015 the Medical Studio is affiliated with the Faculty of Science of Nutrition of the University Carlo Bo of Urbino for carrying out traineeships and degree thesis.
  • In 2016 I’ve been to the cities of Washington, New York, Philadelphia and Baltimora to explain my technique in different colleges, like the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, which is using it to cure multiple schlerosis.
  • I’ve been invited, in 2016, to the Emirates to join the Arab Nutrition Conference as a speaker, in the city of Abu Dhabi, to show my method to the nutritionists of the arab world.
  • In 2016 I’ve been a speaker at the training course “Nutrizione umana applicata” (“Applied human nutrition”), in Rimini and organized by ABNI, the Italian Association of Nutritionists Biologists, with a speak on the “Compliance of the patience at the base of therapeutical success”.
  • In 2017 I’ve been invited to explain my method in Spain, at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport in Madrid.
  • In May 2017 I’ve published my book “Le basi e le altezze del lavoro del nutrizionista” (“The basis and heights of the nutritionist”), a volume on dietetical technique for doctors, nutritionists and dietists.
  • Since 2017 my Studio has been affiliated with the University of Camerino for carrying out traineeships.
  • In 2017 I’ve been a degree thesis co-supervisor in “Biologia Molecolare, Sanitaria e della Nutrizione” (“Molecular, Health Care and Nutrition Biology”) at the University of Carlo Bo in Urbino.
  • In 2020 my Studio has been affiliated with University of G. D’Annunzio in Chieti for carrying out traineeships.
  • In 2021 I’ve published my second book “I nuovi orizzonti della dietetica” (“The new horizons of dietetics”), in which I’ve studied in depth the most important aspects of the daily job of the nutritionist, in light of my personal research and the most recent discoveries of the scientific world.
  • In 2025, Progeo Medical, of which I’m Scientific Director, has obtained the ISO 9001 certification for our quality system management.
